Klev received his 5-year engineering diploma (Master of Engineering - MEng) in July 2012 from Computer Engineering and Informatics Department, University of Patras, and his Master of Sciences (MSc) in Bioinformatics diploma from Uppsala University in April 2014.
He has been a student partner of Microsoft Hellas in University of Patras and teacher's assistant in several undergraduate laboratory courses at the same university. He fulfilled his research training and his master thesis under Prof. Komorowski's supervision. Currently he is a PhD candidate in the Bioinformatics in the same group.
His research interests lie in the broader field of genomics. Specifically he is interested in gene expression regulation, epigenetics, regulatory region annotation, biological data analysis, algorithm development and implementation, data mining, machine learning and computational tool implementation.
